Sleepy Sunday Photos

The week just gone my daughter had all her immunisations and a Plunket check to see how she's measuring. She's doing well, crawling, teething, dribbling - all that normal baby stuff, and she didn't seem to mind the injections. I had to take my boy with me as he had a day off from day care. Anyone would have thought he was the one stuff was happening to because he ended up like this

Out like a the middle of the supermarket (We have a Mountain Buggy + One if you're wondering about the logistics of the pram).

The girl, none-the-wiser. His arm's just there to annoy her, of course.

Interestingly, we walked home (about a 15-20 minute walk) and he was still asleep. He did that weird half-asleep thing where he can answer questions but is still very clearly out of it, sort of like talking to a heavily intoxicated person, and he refused to get out of the pram whenever I asked him if he wanted to get out. So, I made dinner and only then did he get shirty with me because I was supposed to know he wanted to get out right that minute. Ugh! Kids!

At the (wrong) SUNDAY end of the week PHOTOS!

It's nearly summer here and summer means hitting the beach!

Last week we went to Paraparaumu beach to catch a glimpse at the beach before it's over-crowded with holidaying citizens and non-citizens alike. It was the perfect opportunity to try out my panoramic function on my phone!

It'll be interesting to see how they turn out on here. Onwards!

I choose a terrible place to start this photo...

Looking down the beach.

And for the not-very-panoramically inclined!

The wee birds looking on at the too-cool-for-school skateboarders (it was school holidays).

Kapiti Island. Interesting fact! The other side is very...cliffy.

And there we have it, a small snippet of Paraparaumu beach. One of the advantages of living in a country where you aren't too far from a beach wherever you are.

Sunday photos! (Created with real camera!)

I haff some photos of varying range today. I'm borrowing a camera and have some shots that I want to share (without cramming up the news feed of friends on Facebook =p). I took some of flowers and the kids and stuff. So, here they are. Note, they are unedited so there is some unnecessary background.

Fun fact, whenever I bring up these photos on Photoshop they're all pixely because my poor screen resolution isn't good enough. Poor lappy.

Sunday Postness (I'm sure it might maybe be Sunday somewhere).

I'm posting this a day later because I didn't really take photos of anything interesting. But after looking over a few, it seems as though I might have.

We recently bought a new buggy so that we can push both of our children instead of pramming one and front packing or carrying the other. I love it, it's awesome! It also came with a carry cot thing for wee babies, and our girl just fits in it. Interestingly, it makes her look as if she's in a coffin. Our own wee vampire baby.

She's a Twilight vampire sans lame glittering (because she's in the sun...).

Waarghhh, braaaains... (okay, not really vampire related).

"Something smells like Bella. Oh, wait..."

In the last ones I didn't even notice her shoe was missing until after I'd taken them all. The cheeky sod kicked it off in the mere seconds I took to open my phone camera and take a photo. She's mischief, that one.

I LOVE Weddings! Especially the dresses.

I had a big huge mega-large marketing research assignment due on Monday (actually, it isn't that big, but it is time consuming), so I found myself procrastinating, as usual. I discovered a program that prevents me from accessing sites that I choose for a set amount of time and there's nothing I can do about it until the time ends. It's a genius idea and program and I've blocked myself from all the usual sites I procrastinate on so hopefully my marks will improve from here on out. After trying it, I found it so hard - I didn't realise how addicted I was to procrastinating.

Anyway, on to today's post. I decided I'd cut up my wedding dress to make some cushions and a smaller, more wearable dress. So, I put my wedding dress on for the last time, and put the girl in it too.

She can't complain she's had no opportunity to wear it now. High-five future me!
Also, an obligatory selfie. I swear, I'm not actually all that vain. To every one photo of me there are at least twenty of my kids (true story).

That frame is my mirror frame (obviously. Pretty cool huh? I love that frame) and that white stuff on the red ribbon is not mould or whatever nasty thing you think it is (I know what you're thinking...), it's likely mouth prints from a certain little boy on the mirror that I wish I'd noticed earlier so I could clean it off. As it stands, I think I may Photoshop it out. Oh, the inconvenience.
